Why "LakeLine"?
Cedar Park sits on a geological and cultural line: the edge of the Edwards Plateau where the prairie drops toward Lake Travis. The city's entire water supply makes that trip too β pumped from the lake, treated at the Don Webster plant and the BCRUA plant Cedar Park co-owns with Leander and Round Rock, then pushed uphill through the same limestone hills the city was quarried from. (Fun fact: Cedar Park limestone rebuilt the Galveston seawall after the 1900 hurricane.)
We named the company for that line, because the plumbing problems in this city are written by that geography. The water arrives moderately hard (roughly 10β11 GPG) and chloramine-treated. The ground it lands on is limestone and active clay. Every service we run β heater flushes, repipes, slab-leak work β starts from understanding that pairing.
What We Actually Do Differently
- We test the water before we spec the fix. A water heater that dies in 7 years in one part of Cedar Park can last 12 in another, depending on softener condition and pressure. Guessing is how plumbers oversell.
- Flat-rate, written, honored. The quote you approve is the price you pay β nights, weekends, and surprises included.
- We document for your insurance. Slab leaks and sewer failures get photo records, pressure tests, and moisture readings formatted for claims.
- We talk you out of work you don't need. A $200 valve beats a $4,000 repipe when the valve is the honest answer. Ask us about the jobs we declined.
Local, and Staying That Way
We're not a franchise and not a call-center with subcontractors. Our plumbers live here β their kids go to Cedar Park schools, they coach in the same rec leagues β and we intend to be the company this city calls for the next thirty years, not the next thirty days. That changes how you treat people when you know you'll see them again at H-E-B.
